I have used a viser for the last couple of years

Can the cf card be used as a backup Module
I back my handspring everytime I enter data (2-6 times daily) It has saved me lots of time
when the viser crashes I just hit Restore I'm back to where I was at last backup. It's great because I don't need a pc to restore.

I need a database !!! I use THINKDB on the viser for work .

Thanks Photoman1966

Yes both CF and SC cards, as well as Built-in storage can be used for backups. I use Built-in Storage just so that even if for some reason I don't have the CF/SD cards I can restore. Built-in survives even a hard reset.

There are a number of DBs available for PocketPCs. It all depends on what you do with THINKDB. If it's a glorified list keeper, ListPRO is pretty good. I've used VisualCE from Syware and now HanDBase from DDHSoftware. Both work well and have programmable forms for data entry.
