If size is your most important (and it's really really important to you) criteria, get the HP. Otherwise get the Dell. <_<

Well, my guess is that in a place called "aximsite.com", you're gonna get a lot of Axim recommendations. :P

The HP Ipaq is an established Pocket PC and probably a little lighter and smaller, but the Axim is more powerful, more expandable, and an overall much better bang for the buck. Nod to the Axim.

I was just in a store checking out the 1910 an hour ago. It definitely is a good looking device and I like the size, but I wouldn't want it because of the lack of a CF slot (or even the ability to add an adapter like the other IPAQs). There will be SD WiFi cards soon enough (who knows if the 1910 will support them) but in the meantime, I really want the ability to get my email and surf the net on the go via a CF WiFi card. Plus, the $175 I paid for my 300 lets me get a WiFi card and an SD memory card for the same $300 of the 1910 all by itself.

"They" say the question is what do you want? If you only want a calendar, contact, notes device, buy the HP. The problem is, after getting the device, a lot of people see it can do a lot more, if only they could add the cf ...

Thanks for all of your response. The h1910 does have a nice body figure, I only wish that Dell has the same. Now, if any of you have the Dell, how does it feel to hold it? it seems as if it's not pocket friendly b/c of the size. And some of the features of h1910 is not well off as the Dell. IS it worth the spend $300 on h1910 or $350 on Dell? It such a hard decision.

It's more like ... caressing it ... than just holding it.
The rounded sides ... the way it tapers at the bottom ... I could go on.
It fits my hand quite well.

I purchased the 1910 while waiting for my Axim. I returned it as soon as I possibly could. I'm female but I have medium size hands and the Ipaq was just too small. I love the feel of the Axim. The rubber-sided grips makes it feel secure in my hands. In addition, the Axim has much more memory and expansion abilities plus you can get the Axim for the same price as the Ipaq but you just can't go in to a store and buy one. Order the Axim and be patient. You'll be glad you bought the Axim because I'm sure glad I did!!!

Truly, you will get more Axim recommendations than 1910 just because you are in an Axim site.

But here are some random thoughts. I know some are repeats of above:

1. The 1910 battery is only 990mA. The Axim is 1440 mA. That's a very big difference.
2. The 1910 is very small. For a child it would be perfect. I am a 5'7" man, with small hands. I've held the 1910 and it's too small for me. It's neat how small they made it and when you first pick it up you will stand there and be amazed too. Then wonder how easy it would be to let it slip out of your hands. It's like a slippery fish to me. The Dell fits my hand nicely. You don't even have to hold it very hard. The rubber grips are too cool.
3. Having no CF slot sucks. That's basically why its so small. I use my CF slot for GPS, Wi-Fi and MP3 files all the time and don't want to convert over the SD exclusively. I use the SD for memory and CF for other items.
4. You can buy the 1910 for $250 at officemax (retail stores only) right now AND get an extra $50 gift card too (for a future purchase). The Basic Dell is available for $225 with the 10% off coupon. So they're about the same price. It's not fair to compare the lowly 1910 to the 400mhz (advanced).
5. Please don't tell me you can fit it in your shirt pocket. If you are putting it there, it is likely there is a pocket protector along side it. Don't do that. It screams NERD!
