Changing partnership w/ ActiveSync

I originally setup a standard partnership on one PC and a guest on the other. I actually decided I want it the other way. How can I change this, or does it matter?

Thanks
Todd

Hi Seagrtz,
The only time I found this matters is if you sync contacts on (presumably) the guest PC. I use my housemates laptop (ee gad ...it's a dell), and our contacts merged!! All of a sudden I had 200 contacts I hardly new. Several times I have reversed the partnerships because I wanted to sync over downloaded programs on each machine after losing them to hard resets because of the stupid bluetooth nonmanager debacle. The upside was I gained the email addresses of a nice gene pool of tidy females....
All in all it's just a pain in the butt. I would like to buy a usb storage device, the one which reads sd cards would be great, but they don't sell to australians.

seagrtj,

You can actually set up standard partnerships on two computers (even more if you install something like Kelbran's Sync Manager). You can only sync email with one, but almost everything else can be done with each partnership PC. The only thing you need to be a little careful with are contacts, which can be duplicated if they pre-exist on both PCs. For this reason, I usually only sync contacts on a single PC.

thanks for the info, unfortunatly enough I had to rebuild my home PC this weekend. I tried uninstalling M$ Active Sync and it corrupted myy hal.dll. Don't know how, but it did. Total loss. Good thing I keep my PC at the almost always ready to rebuild state. lol...

regardless, I now have my standard partnership with the correct pc.
