So if you go to Calendar on your Axim, create a new appt there are now two?? Or this duplication happens when you sync?

yeah exactly. As soon as you hit ok and it goes back to the day view there are two.

For me sometimes there aren't but I haven't figured out the pattern.

How bizarre? Have you installed any other contacts/PIM software? Or XTNDConnect or anything like that?

no, not recently, it never did this before but now it started doing it.... I also have fusion installed, maybe I hit something in fusion that causes this.. funny it just started happening recently. The appointments is the exact same .. it just doubles it, mirrors it.. weird

It's certainly a software thing, I'd remove fusion and see what happens... Or, backup, hard reset (don't restore) confirm that it does not occur, install fusion and see if it occurs.

you mean hard reset or soft reset? There is no toggle to make duplicate calendar appts. That would be silly.

Did you clear out all the memory and reinstall EVERYTHING or did you just press the button on the side. The button on the side is a soft reset. Like turning your PC on and off. A hard reset is like formatting your hard drive.

It's not Resco File Explorer if that's what you mean.

Like I said, I would backup, hard reset (remove both batteries) and try again. Then once you are sure that you're not getting duplicate calendar entries you can restore. If you still get them then you've verified that it's a software issue. Either step backwards and remove your apps to see which one causes it or hard reset AGAIN and reinstall your data manually.

I think I may have discovered the cause... it seems that when I enter my appointment title with transcriber and then click the 'x' in the upper right hand corner I get 2 appointments, however If I enter the appointment with keyboard and hit rerurn after the appointment name I dont get it.... also noticed that when using transcriber if I write the appointment title then eneter it with the backstroke I dont get duplication.... so point is after you enter title you need to 'enter' key it, hope this helps

Well I'll be. I just confirmed. Did some more testing too. Seems (on mine anyway) any time you use "ok" you get a double, filling it all in and hitting enter on the kb gives just one entry. Strange, but as long as I know what to do I'm ok.

Good find homerpbody

I get this too but I also experienced missing notes on appointments. If I amend an appointment by adding some notes as soon as I tap "x" to close the notes they are lost :-(
I'm just backing up now and will do a hard reset, we'll see if that fixes it. I have no other PIM software installed.
