Reset stops working

I have had the AX5 (now running PPC2003 after upgrade) since February. The reset button has always been very slow to respond and now it doesn't respond at all. I use the styllus that came with the Ax and overtime it's punched through the rubber because I have to hold it in for so long to get a soft reset. Any ideas before I call Dell?

Thanks.

I quit using the stylus to hit the reset button long ago. I have been able to use one of my fingers or thumb to reset it.

Have you tried installing a utility (such as HandyMenu) that allows you to reset your device?

I tried using my finger as suggested - no luck. I haven't used the suggested utility, but will do so.

HandyMenu did the trick for less than $3.

I really like Handy Menu. Once I tried it, it quickly become one utility that I could not do without.
