hardware button problem
I have an AXIM X5 with PPC2003. When I press the hardware button for Inbox, the Inbox title shows up on the title bar and the inbox menus show up on the menu bar at the bottom. However, the Inbox does not appear, nor does the program appear in the running programs list.

If I launch Inbox from the "Start Menu" it works fine and thereafter, until I power down the Axim, the hardware button will launch the Inbox even after I tell the system to stop running the program.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I encountered the exact problem, this is how I got it to work correctly,

Start-->Settings-->Personal-->Buttons-->Reassign button 4 to control anything but the inbox and then restore to default.

Good luck !

Hi,

For what it's worth, I had the same problem and also tried resetting through the "restore defaults" button:

While this did not seem to work right away, it did work when performing a soft reset (XP shutdown) after assigning the button to another application and restoring the defaults for the buttons afterwards.
