The problem: I have two programs (List Pro and Resco Explorer) that won't install into main memory even though I tell ActiveSync that is where to install them. I can install them into Built-In storage, my SD card or my CF card, but not into main memory. See further details below.
Background: I've had my Axim for a couple of months now, trying out different programs and configurations and seeing what I want/don't want. Towards the end of my experimenting I moved ListPro and Resco File Explorer into Built-In Storage (following the advice of postings to keep RAM as free of stored programs as possible). I also assigned those programs to hard buttons on my Axim. Due to all the installing and uninstalling (I think) I started having to soft reset often (daily/several times a day). The Axim would also crash when I tried to start the Axim from one of the two buttons assigned to those programs. Since I've settled on how I want my Axim configured, I decided to do a hard reset and to install all programs that will be assigned to hard buttons into RAM. The hard reset and reinstallation of programs went fine except for ListPro and Rescoe File Explorer. Even though I will designate main memory on the installation window, ActiveSync is putting them into Built-In Storage. I can and have put them in my flash cards. Right now they're on my SD card. They run fine, but now I have the start-up from the hard button problem I was having before. Is there any way to get ActiveSync to put it in main memory? Did I not properly uninstall them from the Built-In memory? Help :o
Thanks.
