subsequent charge of batt -- do i charge till the power menu says battery at 100%?

*as above*
just bought a second hand axim so this isn't the first time the battery is being charged.
hmm one more question, how come when left idle, the battery indicator seems to drop 1% every 10 seconds.. i stoned at the screen for about 10 secs and it dropped by a percent.. now it's 91%

all replies appreciated.

I think there's a glitch in the OS the causes this... But I'm not sure if and where there is a fix.

I always charge until the light shows green because the light will be amber even though the reader will say 100%.

As for the battery going down, if you turn the Axim off and turn it back on, the battery reader will go back up. It is no big deal.

usually pretty normal for the ax not to give exact readings on the battery, This is the ax and also from the battery, all batterys will go up and down on their own.

Like how if you "rest" a battery it will give you a higher reading. This is common amoung all batteries

I've noticed this on my Ax also. But my battery reader when turned back on will say a higher value also. Must be normal for the way the Axim reports battery power.

the axim inflates battery percentages while charging. if the power source is removed during a charge, the meter reading will drop quickly until it reaches the true battery level.

once the unit is charged, the meter is very accurate.
