I'm trying to decide which I should get, the 400MHz X5 or 400MHz X3. Are there any performance differences between the two? Which would you recommend? Size is not and issue, but since the X3 is newer, I didn't know if it was better. I'll be using it for games and organization. Any comments are appreciated.
I don't own any cards, but I could always buy SD cards if I need more space. I live in a relatively small city so I don't think I will be worrying about wifi. I most likely won't use GPS either.
In that case I'd be going with the X3. The X5 has more scope for expansion and accessories but the X3 is a more compact unit. And it's newer. In terms of performance I'm not 100% sure. I don't think that there is any significant difference.

The extra battery is not a big deal to me. Even though I also use wifi. I'm never too far from a charger. But the $30 extra for more ROM and a smaller PPC would be justified in my book.

I'd recomend staying away from screen protectors. They are sure to ruin your new toy. I tried some of the Boxwave ones (supposedly one of the best out there) and my screen looked very clouded after application and dust was REALLY attracted to the device.

If you get any, I'm sure you will find that except for the bubbles difficulty with the Dell ones, the screen protectors work fine on the X3i. Maybe it was your Jornada that was the problem.

I strongly doubght it. Looked the same on a friends old COMPAQ iPaq that had a Screen Protector on it. Does anyone know if I buy the Dell Screen Protectors, that if I use one and don't like it, I can return it for a full refund? That's how boxwave works.
