It started last night. I was studying for a test I had today and was putting notes into my axim using pocket word and the Dell foldable keyboard. I pulled up Microsoft ebook reader because I wanted to look up a wod in the dictionary I had installed. After the definition came up, the pages started to scroll and it would not stop. It seemed as though a key had gotten stuck or something. I had to do a soft reset. Later that night I was using the microsoft money program inputting a transaction and as soon as I pressed the return button it kept switching from the main money page to the transaction page as if someone kept pressing return. I had to do another soft reset.
I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem because I have never had to reset until now. It can also be a microsoft problem being that they were both microsoft applications.

I would appreciate it if anyone can help.
Thanks!

Hmm

I've just recently started using the folding keyboard and have found that I have an intermittent problem with the spacebar. At first, whenever I pressed the spacebar, it would stick and dozens of spaces whizzed by. I opened and closed the keyboard a few times and that seemed to help. However, now about 50% of the time, one tap on the spacebar inputs 2 spaces. It's really frustrating.

I'm out of ideas on why this might be happening, and I'm considering sending it back for a replacement.

Anyone else having a similar problem? Any solutions?

I think there is a bug in the keyboard driver that misses key releases sometimes. When it happens to me, I generally find that hitting another key stops the repeating key. If you don't use auto-repeat very much or at all, you might try putting the delay and repeat rate all the way to the right in the keyboard control program.

As for the double-strike of the space bar, that definitely sounds like a hardware problem to me and I'd contact Dell support about an exchange.
