One issue I have with my AXIM over my old Palm is that the Palm had a Battery Indicator at the top of the screen always.
The Axim doesn;t have this. I have seen pictures with it at the top but have been unable to find out where I can add this to my view? Can someone please help me on this one?

All you need to do is go to Start > Settings > System > and then tap on the "Switcher Bar" item. The Switcher bar will appear at the top of the screen. It has an indicator for the battery level (which is also a shortcut to the battery status screen), a shortcut to the brightness control and a icon that has two arrows on it which allows you to view the programs that are currently running.

One thing that you ought to know, is that if you do a soft reset the switcher bar gets turned off. You just need to start it up again.

A quick remedy for that is to put a shortcut for switcher under Windows->startup ;)
