Hi everyone,
Can someone PLEASE!!!!! help me solve this WCESMgr.EXE error that pops up with Inbox sync'ing subsequently shutting down the program.
I've searched the forums ( Dell(no help), MS, Aximsite-great site by the way ) and has come across the topic but can't seem to find the solution.
I can not ask politely enough, PLEEEEEEEEASE :D any help would be appreciated.

My desktop is W2K, with Win 2K Pro. Nothing else attached. Strickly a home PC w/out a network connection.
I have:
1. Installed 3.6V (from MS site)-right there could be a hint.
2. Downloaded the D-pad patch (successfully)
3. Downloaded the R55367.EXE for the USB driver from www.support.dell.com
4. uninstalled and reinstalled 3.6V 3x's.
5. Set up partnership(s)
6. After each installation it'll sync the Inbox 1x (maybe 2x) but then it goes AWOL with " WCESMgr.EXE " error.
7. All other catogories sync w/out a prob if the Inbox is NOT sync'd.

If someone knows why I'm running into this wall, PLEASE, any advice would be welcome.
I'm not technically Fred Estaire, so in layman's terms would be best. I'm long term Palm-er and really prefer the Axim but I haven't a clue as to what I'm doing wrong. I can't spend alot more time on this as it's cutting into my time too deeply.
Other errors are that it can't be written 0x77fcb317, Reference Memory at 0x00000098. HUH??
Thank you for your time.
I hope you all are doing well.
Tokyo J
PS: If this is wrong place to ask about this error, just let me know what I might go. Cheers.

Rhyno,
Good link with alot of meat.
Went through it and tried each solution but Axim still shuts down or brings up the WCESMgr.exe error.
I beginning to feel like a mouse in a maze here. Eventually I'll get there.
Would anyone have any thoughts on where to go from here?
Some email folders sync but w/ 387 unsync'd items it's not shutting down w/out me touching anything after only about 10~15 emails sync'ing.

It's 12 midnight and I'm on my 2nd glass of wine.
I REFUSE to give up!! (besides tomorrow's a day off and the bottle's half full.
Cheers

Rhyno, I love that site you mentioned....more meat than at a butchers shop, or a packing plant in western Kansas. >:-{)}

Just out of curiosity, does the problem go away for a little bit if you reboot your computer?

If yes, then look in the Staff Reviews section at the review I did on a program called ActiveSyncToggle.

If no, I'm not sure what the problem is.
