how to get video on Axim

Hi everyone!

Im looking forward to get my Axim X3i! I also want use it as a "portable video player" as some of you also do.

Therefore i wanted to know:
1.) where do you get your e.g. simpsons episodes from?
(record it from tv with tv card on pc? download it somewhere?...)

2.) i have some dvd's/vcds and it would be nice to have them on the sd card.
How do i get it there? (there's question of ripping, compremating...)

Thanks for any input!!!

Werner

Yes. And to play video files in windows media player, they have to be WMV files in order to play. You can convert and video file into WMV by using window movie maker.

I would recommend using Mpegs instead of WMV, as I've tried WMV on my Axim X5 Basic with the 300 mhz processer, the WMV was choppy, A/V didn't line up quite right, Mpegs worked perfect tho
