Changing default install directory

In my Axim X3i I have a 128Mb secure card I would like to use to install the occasional program. How do I temporarily change the default install folder so I can point it to the card?

Also, why do people always list what they have at the end of their post? Somehow I think it's put there just to make me feel inferior :-)

Open ActiveSync on your PC, select Tools, Add/Remove Programs and uncheck the box "Install program into the default installation folder" From then on, it will ask where you want the program to go as you install.

The lists people put in their signatures is so when they are describing problems, they don't have to say, oh, BTW, I have a nagging wife that tells me I'm an idiot because I cannot install programs where I want. :) (and, of course, to brag)

You might also wish to take a look at Gigi's great tutorial, located here, http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showt...threadid=22385, to find out all you ever wanted to know about installing and unistalling software.
