how to connect to internet thru PC?

OK..ive tried looking for a tutorial on this but maybe i missed it.

how can i connect to the net to view web pages on my axim?? the manual has me lost
my pc is connected to AOL by DSL, my axim is in its cradle...now what? ive gone to the internet explorer but it says "the page you are looking for cannot be found"
i have never viewed a web page yet, i have not set up anything in the connections, because its not explained very well
help!!!!

In ActiveSync on the PC, File, Connection settings..., make sure "Allow network and RAS..." is checked. You may need to disable any firewalls that are running (or open the ports for ActiveSync). Also, under Options, Rules (tab), I think the "To use pass through..." should be set to "The Internet" but if that doesn't work after fixing any of the above settings, try "Work" for this setting.
