ever since I installed my active sync I have been having problems with my sidewinder game controller. It turns off and on intermittently ( green light indicator shows this) and when it turns off and on I hear the active sync 'ding' noise so I think it's related to the problem. I have tried unplugging my cradle when palying games but it still does it, must be a conflict somewhere... any ideas?? thanks

try reinstalling the sidewinder. is it USB? try changing the port the joystick uses.

does a conflict or hardware problem show when you open the device manager?

it is a usb, there was no install disk or driver for it ... obviously ... checked the device manager and saw no conflicts.. thanks , will keep investigating
