Naming Pardnership After Hard Reset

I have had to make 2 or 3 hard resets on my Dell Axim5. I sign as a guest to download the back up files and then go back and form a pardnership. It asks for a name, when I attempt to put the old name back in, it states this name in use, try another. Is there anyway to keep the same name for the PDA? or Is there a way to
delete some of the old names and then use them again?
Anyone have any suggestions? Your help would be appreciated.
Thanks

If I am correct when the Axim "IS NOT CONNECTED" got to the file menu and select delete partnership. Then try again. It worked once for me, then the last time I had to uninstall ActiveSync then reinstall. Good Luck. I would wait for another answer, someone mite know more.

I went to other threads and did not find an answer to my original question. There must be someone out there who has an answer to this problem.
There has to be a way to use a partnership name over after deleting it.
Any ideas?

Do as Joel suggested. While not connected, open AS on the PC, select File and Delete Partnership. It will delete the currently selected partnership and allow you to create a new one with the old name.

Ike, Your fix worked perfectly and saved me a lot of hassles this evening. My only problem now is, the next time I tried to sync again, I'm getting the exact same question, and have to delete the partnership all over again. Any suggestions on that?
