Question PPC Excel/PPC Words

I just got an Axim x5. The main use for this handheld is to bring forms out into the field, to speed the processing. the problem is that once the form is put into and opened in PPC Excel, the form is changed. A one page form comes back out as a 6 pages, and all the formating (such as centering the text) is lost. Is there some way to fix this without remaking the forms in PPC Excel.

So the form is in Excel or Word? The versions included with the Axim are pretty limited. You might want to consider using a "PPC Aware" version of your spreadsheet for your Axim. The alternative is to look to 3rd party spreadsheet applications.

How would I make my spreadsheet "PPC Aware", and If that does not work, what 3ed party applications should I look at.

To get my spreadsheets to come out right, could I install and run a copy of excel 2002 on to a CF card.

Nope. Excel is a PC Application. Pocket Excel does not support many of the features of "full" excel. So you'd need to recreate your spreadsheet to ensure that it's not using Macros, VB etc.
