Problems with syncing sent items, etc..

Ok, I'm new to the AXIM but not to PDA's. I have had an AXIM X5 adv. for 3 weeks and I have yet to succeed in synchronising my sent items or other (non-inbox) folders.

I'm using Office XP and I do see the extra folders on the AXIM, just doesn't seem to synchronise them.

Any help would be appreciated! ;)

BTW: Great site you have here with a loot of good info an decent members!

If I'm not mistaken (and I often am), you can only sync the inbox folder and not the other folders.

Thanks for the reply! :)

That's really weird since those folders do show up on the AXIM. Just nothing in it. If anyone has some further information please share it with me because I'm puzzled.

Are there any Outlook/exchange compliant mail clients for the AXIM?

I believe the folders on the Axim are for e-mails that are generated and sent using the Axim, not for syncing with your desktop Outlook. I just checked my Sent folder on my Axim and the only items in there are 2 e-mails that I sent using my Axim.

Geez... that would be bad, really bad.... In fact that cheeses me off since it is complete b#####.

Am I the only one to think this AXIM is a piece of crap regarding syncing and e-mail???

In only a couple of weeks time I've had so many issues with this things that makes me want to throw it out the window.

I'm now trying Intellisync from pumasoft to see if that can relieve me of some of the pain.

SubZero - I had the EXACT same problem with my new Axim X5 adv. What version of Microsoft ActiveSync are you running? If you're like me, you installed what came on the Dell install disc, ActiveSync 3.7. Well, it appears that there's an upgrade to ActiveSync 3.7.1 on Microsoft's website.

I upgraded to this newer software and have been able to successfully sync everything. It was like a miracle! You should be able to sync all your messages in Outlook to the Axim.

Let me know how it comes out! Emily :)

Are you able to sync the drafts folder as well? I can't seem to get drafts created on my axim to sync to outlook. Thanks!
