It may be just me, but when I turn the Axim on I am hearing a very high pitched noise coming from the screen. Is this normal? I was a black and white Palm user before and this noise may be normal with the color screen. If someone could post and lead me to believe I am not hearing things I'd appreciate it.

It's the backlight. It's normal, but if yours is particularly loud and annoying, call Dell to ask for a replacement. Or, you could wait until you get just a bit older and the hearing starts to go...:p
