Imov appear to be blocked on yahoo
I was using Imov successfully up until about 4 weeks ago and it has stoped working with Yahoo. I can still get ICQ and IRC to work but yahoo seems to have changed settings and the same has happend with Trillian for the desktop. I went to the Triallian site and there was a suggestion to get around the problem adn it lasted about 2 days, It would appear (and this is limited data) that Yahoo is agressively blocking any other agent that attempts to accessa users acount. They are probably fearing advertising loss. Just a guess.

AOL does the same thing. Try downloading the latest version of the software, or try using a different server, but no gurantees.

Would someone be kind enough to tell me how to change the server for imov? When I changed it, I received the message that I could not connect at that server.

I'm rather peeved, so step-by-step instructions would be best.

Thanks,

Forensics

Re: Imov appear to be blocked on yahoo
Would you provide a link, please? A search returned way too many choices.

I found the manual online, so I don't need the instructions.

Thanks, though. I ran the wizard and entered a different server from imov's website until i found one that worked.

Have a nice...
