Axim and Presentations
Actually, this question is for PDAs in general. Is there anyway to do a presentation using Microsoft Powerpoint, a projector, and a PDA? Could someone give me the low down on this?

A few companies offer addon products that allow you to do this.
You can purchase one from Dell when you buy your axim -
Presenter-to-Go CompactFlash Card [add $199.00]
The CD that comes with the Axim does have a powerpoint viewer program on it that you can use to view the presentation just on the Axim with out hte CompactFlash Card.

So, what would the CF card do? The normal projectors just relay an image up to a screen so does the CF card send the image to the projector somehow or what? This is confusing :-/

I really don't know exactly.
The card is by Margi.
Here is a link to the site on it - http://www.margi.com/products/prod_ptg.htm
It looks like it allows you to plug into a vga, svideo or composite port.

Does that give Power Point capabilities or just projection. The way I understood it, is that Power Point was not available on this Pocket PC platform but was on Hand Held PC?

I have the Colorgraphic Voyager CF. It has not only VGA out but also RCA and S-video out---and you can find it cheaper. Also it comes with software that allows you to de native PP presentations, including annamations.. I think it is far better than the Margi. If you do get the margi, you can find it cheaper than $ 199 on ebay and do a Cnet search.
:D

I have been using the Margi CF and although it is a little pricey ($199.00 + s/h) it works great. I did have to download a software upgrade, but after I did, it worked fine. I was a bit disappointed that it didn't support animation. The Margi system comes complete with IR remote and cables. Now if someone made a pocket projector :D
