Question Voltage question... 220 OK??

Hi; I travel a LOT, which is one of the main reasons I am getting an axim (arrives next month). Obviously I want to be able to charge it... but wondering how it works with the change in power supply. My laptop has never had a problem and adjusts automatically. Does anyone know about the axim? What do other people do when they are overseas?

Obviously I'm a newbie... thanks for putting up with my basic question. I am hoping that there is an equally simple answer to be had : )

Cheers.

The Axim power supply accepts 100-240V at 50-60Hz, so no problems there.

I also do a lot of travelling, with a laptop, but I don’t carry my PDA power supply. I use a USB charge cable to charge the PDA from a USB port. It is a lot lighter and less bulky than yet another power supply. I also have one for my mobile phone.

Do you know anybody in the UK that does the USB cigarette lighter adapter???

Expansys do one but its a bit expensive, seen them on the web in the US for $9 (£6)

Thanks!

Thanks a lot Synth... appreciate the info. I am hoping to not take my laptop on a number of trips so probably will take the adaptor. Thanks though!

Cheers.
