Awaiting X3i delivery!!

I'm excitedly waiting delivery of an X3i - pressie from my boyfriend for my birthday tomorrow. Found this site via a search on google and it looks like I'll be back!

I keep reading about Rhino cases - can someone post a link to their store please?

Looking forward to joining in the forums more when I get my new toy!

Sharon, I'm in the same situation. The UPS tracking number tells me I'm getting my X3i today.

ooh - great excitement - mine is due to be delivered today. Got a message on answer phone last night from a lady (who could barely stay awake long enough to finish the message - great eh!) saying it is due to be delivered today! Brought CDwriter into work today so I can download some stuff! Can't wait to get home - hope it's there!!!!!

Well, I got home and it had arrived! Hooray! I'm sitting here looking at the little orange light - wishing it would turn GREEEEN so I can have a play with it! It's torture! Charge for 4 hours at least before first using it. Nooooooooo! It's my bedtime and I have to work tomorrow - but I want to try it out! Arghhhhhhh

I think the new X3i's are a bit different than the instruction manual describes. My light never flashes. Red when charging but not full. Green when full and charging.

Actually, even though it says to charge for 4 hours before using it, it's actually probably a good idea to go ahead and let it charge overnight to make sure the backup battery gets fully charged as well. When I got my X3i, I charged the 4 hours then when I turned it on, I kept getting a low backup battery warning. Charging it overnight got it fully charged.

Yep, you're right on both counts! The orange light stays on when it's not fully charged. I had to leave it for longer than 4 hours for it to go green, and hten it went back to orange very quickly. I lef tit overnight and it is fine now - the backup battery is 'normal'. Only really started playing with it today! Just switched on wifi and someone round here (at work) has got an airport or somat plugged in - couldn't log in to the network tho (which is a good thing, or someone would be in big trouble here! I work in a hospital IT dept) - but chuffed that it seems to be working!!! I think I'm in love already!!!!!
