Question about Active Sync?

Is there a way to have Active Sync 3.6 start minimized to the tray?

I don't see the pb. Mine did that by default. The icon is grey unless the Ax is connected. Are you running XP? Is the icon hidden?

I am running Win XP Home Edition ... and the program always starts maximized on my desktop. I want it to stay in the tray.

Maximized? As in taking up the whole screen?
Mine won't even do that if I wanted it to.
The maximize button is greyed out, and double clicking on the title bar does nothing.

No, not the whole screen. Just a dialogue box smack dab in the center.

Just hit the close box, it will go to the system tray.

Already figured that out. What I want to know is this ... is there a setting or an option that I can enable to make it START in the system tray?

In ActiveSync, go to Tools -> Options, Rules tab, and uncheck the "Open ActiveSync when my mobile device connects" box at the bottom.

Has anyone had troubles connecting with your Axim after upgrading to Active Sync 3.6. I did all the steps in the installation and the desktop and Axim hang on "connecting".

Any thoughts?
