backup battery

I got the axim 300 in Dec of "02"I used it for several months and then it set idle for 3 months. Before i used it the last time i cha rged it up till light was off on axim. Now when i turn on axim the backup battery is low comes on. Where is best place to purchase this battery and what is it?Thx

Drug stores or a photo shop, I believe it's a CR2032. The number may be on the battery itself as well.

Battery can be bought anywhere that electronic batteries are sold. Probably cheapest at Walmart, about $2. It is 2032 and is about the size of a nickel. You can push the small black release button on the battery cover on the back of your Ax with your stylus as you slide it off the edge. You will see the battery and can replace it with a like model. Be sure your main battery is charged before you remove the backup battery.

No, it is not a rechargable battery. These batteries usely last for one year with normal usage. The battery is removable and can be purchased at any office supply store, drug stores, electronic stores, etc. The battery is CR2032. It only costs a few bucks.

Remember, the backup batteries on the X5's are replaceable only. They do not recharge. On the X3's, the backup battery is rechargable.
