I have a Dell Axim X5. Is there a program (or a built-in function) that can disable the screen when, say, I am playing music on my Axim and it is in my pocket? Any advice appreciated!

if you're using MS Windows Media you could use botton mapping to assign a hardware (edit:typo) button of you axim to have your screen toggle on and off.

there's also this freeware that I downloaded and tried using but was not too happy about its behavior that I parted with it in no time. i think it's called screen off. i know some people use this utility. but personally i would not recommend it based on my experience.
