oke first of all i wanna ask how long to wait for the main bat ( i have the 3440 mah (the big one) and also i want to now what software is a must (i use it for school so a agenda prog would do )

Be patient. I might have messed mine up and will always wonder if I'm getting all the battery time I could. If you really can't wait take the battery off (don't put in the back up one) and plug the ac in and check out the unit for awhile then you can start charging when you are ready. I think this will be ok. I have not tried it but try putting the ax in the sync port without the battery and put the battery in the back charging port. This way you can charge and check out the ax at the same time. The regular battery should be charged 4 hours before use.

BTW- you will lose what ever you have done using the above methods after the power is disconected. If you try either don't use/turn on the ax untill the battery has charged.
