shipping dates???

I ordered my Axim (400) on 2/6 and have had a ship date of 2/27. However, as of this morning, if I was to place a new order, I would have a ship date of 2/26. What is up with that?? Will people who order now get their unit shipped before mine? I'm ripping my hair out - where is my Axim!!??!?!

I can't believe an order placed today would be filled in about week. That must be a mistake. Accessories do factor into the ship date so yours might be waiting for something.

I ordered another Ax yesterday (2/16) and already have the confirmation email w/ ship date of 2/26. We'll see.............

I ordered mine on the 10th, the ship date at that point was the 27th (no accessories ordered) as of today it hasn't even entered the kitting stage...GRRR....ah, well I had a life before I ordered the Axim, I shall continue to have a life until it arrives...

The order status page will go from Pre-production straight to Shipping Prep once they have all the pieces ordered. There is no construction time involved since the PDA is already built.

I ordered mine on 2/4 with a ship date of 3/11. Axim 400, and an extra usb cable, what gives? :crooked:

Mine is stuck "In Production" and has been there for about 3 days. I must be special because they're going out of their way to build one just for me. Expected delivery is 3/3-3/5!!!

I even ordered a second one just to see if the ship date would be sooner. Now I have time to decide if I want the 400 or the 300.

Ordered my Axim on 2/14 with ship day of 2/27. It arrived today 2/17. Nice unit. Too bad the USB cradle and travel synch didn't. Sales rep screwed up the order and they have to ship separately. Will have to wait for that before I can synch.

I just checked my account on Dell's website and found out that my accesories are shipping today. I'll get my accesories before I get my Axim. OH WELL..... Wish they would send the instruction booklet to the Axim so I could start studing it. hehehe

I just read Tony's early post he said he order his on 2/14 and got it today 2/17.......... I ordered 2/10 and ship date is not until 2/21. I don't understand how that can be.... did you order on line or by phone? I ordered on line because of the extra discount and free shipping.

I ordered my Axim two weeks ago and I'm still waiting for the confirmation e-mail. I called Dell, but they claim that my order already has been send to the factory. If I don't have an e-mail in two days, I have to call back. Damn... I hate this waiting, especially when you don't know a thing about shipping dates.

I ordered mine on the 12th. Got the "waiting to be shipped" message on the 14th where it languished all weekend, and I just got my tracking number this morning so I guess mine is on the way. Their estimated deliver date is the 20th, but I'm betting it will be at the local UPS distribution point by tomorrow...

After all, it only has to travel from Nashville, TN to St. Louis which is only a 5 hour drive...

I ordered the 400 MHz model with a leather case, and an extra usb sync cable.

I have noticed that any orders that included the keyboards have been delayed according to the moderators on the DELL boards.

From the way it looks, if you want your Axim fast, the fewer accessories you order, the better.

As a side note, I ordered my Dell using my work account as we have some special deal with them, so I don't know if that expedited my shipment or not. I kind of doubt it...

Ordered the 400Mhz unit and extra sync cable on 2/6. The ship date as of now is 2/27! It sounds like I would have been better off waiting another week!
