What software can I use to see power point files (.pps) on the AXIM 5X?
I would like to create power point presentations on my pc and take it home and review them at home.
Do I need to have anything special in order to do that?

There is a powerpoint viewer program that came with your CD in the box, which is the full version. You can download that. This, through activesync, will convert the desktop presentation to the pocket version.

I do not think you can create one on the axim though. Not sure. Handango.com has several powerpoint programs that you can try and then purchase the one you like. There must be one there that will allow you to make edits, changes etc.

Also, there appears to be an upgrade option on handango for the powerpoint progra,m that is on the CD. This may have significant changes in that.

The problem with IAPresenter on the Dell cd is twofold.

IA Style is going to stop making their software soon so you'll be using a "dead" program in a couple months.

Also it converts them to their own format which you can't edit. If you want to be able to edit them, you'll need a program like Pocket Slides.
