Exclamation "Sync" questions type thing..........

First off, got my Axim 400MHz yesterday. IT RULES!

Ok, on to the problem. First off, I HATE Outlook. I don't suppose there is any way to get the Axim to sync with Outlook Express is there? The reason I ask this is because Outlook just seems to "turn itself on" whether I want it to or not. Also, when I left my Axim in the cradle overnight, it kept turning on. I'd get up, go "un-sync" it, turn it back off and it would eventually turn on again. I know it's excited to have a new owner but can't it let me get some sleep? I looked through the documentation but couldn't find anything ANYWHERE on how to stop this behaviour. Am I missing something?

Any help is appreciated. (ESPECIALLY on how to stop Outlook from just turning itself on.) :crooked:

Oh yeah, is there any easier way to enter B-days from the computer to the Axim for reminders? Maybe a bette rsoftware program I don't know about? I'm not real up to date on "apps" programs.

Ok, newbie signing off.

This should stop the Axim from automatically synching.

Go to ActiveSync on your computer, click on the Options button or go to Tools > Options.
Go to the Schedule tab and select Manually in the Desktop schedule section.
