Serial Cradle vs USB Cradle?
What are the pros and cons to each?

USB cradle is faster, but USB isn't supported by Win 95 or WinNT. Serial is slower, but supported by those older operating systems.

Use USB if possible. The serial link uses a USB - serial conversion chip in the cable. Sounds like it's probably OK, but I would try to keep it simple.
