Two Outlook Versions

I've been digging around in the archives.....please excuse me if I missed a relevant thread. I just upgraded our home PC to Win XP and Office 2003. At work I have Win 2000 and Office XP. Outlook on both PC's accesses the same exchange account, but the work PC is on a LAN and the home PC accesses the LAN through dial-up. I have Active Sync set to sync e-mail and other Outlook pim info at work and all Outlook pim info except e-mail at home. Now the problem--Active Sync wants to duplicate everything (or just hang) each time I go from one PC to the other. It is usually more of a problem on the Win XP machine. Is this a result of having two different versions of Outlook on the desktops?

Not sure if it will help but have you tried this:
In Activesync click the Options Buttom on the top | Click the Rules Tab and tell it how you want it to resolve conflicts. You can select who over-rides who (the Axim or PC).
