Worried Is outlook the only calendar that active synch recognizes???

I have a Dell Axim X5 and a RIM Blackberry 7230 handheld both connected to the same pc. I use one (blackberry) for work related purposes and the other (Axim X5) is for my personal activities. Unfortunately they both are hooked to one outlook shared calendar and I don't want everyone in the office in my business.

Are there any other alternatives for me to synch my x5??

Help!!

Welcome to aximsite, lucytrainer!

I think this is what the "private" box in outlook is for. I don't share my calendar, so I don't use this feature, but I think you can make appointments "private" so you can see them and not anyone else. On your desktop it is a box in the lower right corner of the appointment. I don't know where it is in pocket outlook since I use pocket informant.

True. By default, no-one else has access to your appt details anyway. Through the free/busy connector they can see when you have got timeslots available, but they won't see the details unless they have been explicitly granted permission.

Clicking the PRIVATE option means that even if they HAVE been granted permission they won't be able to see the details of those private appts.

I'm interested in the answer to the original question -- are there any alternatives? I have PPC2002 on my Axim X5. I do not like Microsoft IE, Outlook and OE because of security issues, preferring Firefox and Thunderbird instead. I use Mozilla Calendar, but it doesn't work with PPC. Anyone know of another MS-alternative calendar program which would?
