300Mhz Vs 400 Mhz

Is the difference significant between the processor speed? I am looking to get one and wondered what the difference was. THanx

There is a slight difference between performance between the two. If you plan on using your Axim to watch videos, play games, and MP3's, you may want to go with the 400MHz version as the additional speed can improve performance a bit. If you only want basic PIM functions with the occasional game or media task, the 300MHz should work well and save you a few dollars. Also refer to the similar threads links at the bottom of this thread.

The 300 can be made to run at 400. They both have the same processor, the 300 is intentionally software-crippled.

Try XCPUScalar(Google it), it overclocks your processor. I have a 400 so I don't know if it will work on a 300.
