Axim won't do a hard reset

I'm having trouble getting the Axim to sync, despite following all of the directions exatly. So, I followed the advice of some people here, and did a hard reset. I get the message which says:

"To clear all data in the memory, press"button1". To cancel this operation, press "button2". I pressed button1 and nothing happens. I pressed button2 and nothing happens. The screen doesn't change.

Please tell me I'm doing something wrong.

I did a real hard reset and removed both batteries. I got ActiveSync to finally work too. I just followed the same advice as what most people give around here... uninstall AS, unplug the cradle from the usb port, reinstall AS, and then plug the cradle back in.

Re: Axim won't do a hard reset

The buttons they are referring to are the buttons to the left of the d-pad, not on the screen. Just in case you were tapping the screen.

I'm an idiot. Thanks. I don't know why I didn't think of that. I'll be laughing at that one for days.
