It's here!!! Do I HAVE to wait 4 hours?

Do I have to let it charge for 4 hours? :(

Is there anyway to tell if the battery has been pre-charged or not? Will it screw it up if I turn it on?

It is best to just wait the four hours. :) I know it is hard, but that way if you have any problems you can honestly tell Dell you did everything you were supposed to.

I'm sorry. :( I know how hard it is. :D I am in college and have to get up at 5:30 in the morning, and I still stayed up until 1 in the morning installing programs. :D:crooked:

Fubak, the good news is that when the orange light in the power switch goes green, the 4 hours is up...you're charged! Mine arrived at that lovely state in about 2 hours.

Put the battery in the second slot to charge, and use the Axim in the main slot :D unless you have the 300Mhz, with no cradle....

Mine came with 57% charge in the main battery and 100% in the backup, so I had plenty of juice for use-and-charge-at-once.
