It costs no money. Just open up microsoft reader, click on setting on the left toolbar, click "This copy of the Microsoft Reader is not yet Activated" and follow instructions there.

one more question..how do u load the ebooks??

When you download an e-book from Windows it should put them in a folder in your "My Documents" folder called "My Library". You can connect the Axim via ActiveSync and open an explorer windows from there and just drag the file into "My Documents" in RAM or a storage card anywhere. Or, if you have set up ActiveSync to synchronize files with the Axim, you can drag a copy to the synchronization folder on your PC and the file will copy over when you synchronize. Finally, if you want to put it on an external storage card you can copy it on a desktop PC using a card reader, if you like.

MS Reader on the Axim will find the e-book the next time you open the library.
