Audible files

I'm having a hard time listening to books from Audible. I can no longer use MS Reader when an Audible file is in the library. The "wait" icon appears and the system freezes until I do a soft reset. Any ideas what the problem is?

thanks!

I've heard of that problem before. Apparently, as I recall, MSReader invokes the Audible modules for something, so you can't listen and read at the same time. I'll look for the links, but it may take a while.

Here is a thread I found from 2001 about problems with Audible and MS Reader.

I don't use Audible, or read them with MS Reader, but apparently there are conflicts. I searched at www.microsoft.com, but didn't find a reference. Sorry.

Maybe someone else has a more current reference for you.
