Arrgh, bubbles!

Are you really supposed to get all the bubbles out from under these screen protectors, or is it just to your comfort level? I've got the large ones out, but when I try to get the smaller ones out, two more appear for every one I disperse. Is this some skill that comes with time? If I have to get all these !@#$% out I'm going to be laughing like Renfield by the end of it!:rolling:

Which one's are you trying? With the Dell protectors I found that you got bubbles when it was new...after quite a while it settled down (in the meantime just lifting a corner helps clear it pretty easy)

I've also just got Brando protectors - and they do take some practice imo...but worth it when they are right!

I'm using the Dell's. Also, on both my and mywife's x3i's after application, it made the screen look like there was a faint crease in it (when screen was dark, you can't see it when it is illuminated). Is this normal? Any tricks to raising just the one corner, as you described?
Thanks,
Brian

I found the best way to handle the Dell protectors are to wash them and let the sit for a day or two. Once I get thru these I will be buying a Boxware protector.

I have tried applying talcum powder on the surface and then using a rag or tissue to wipe it completely off before installing the protector. It works fine.

try running the edge of a credit card across the entire surface, end to end?

I don't think that particular advice is very good.

I suggest using a Driver's License, Library Card, Employee Access card........anything but a Credit Card.

A Credit (or Debit) Card in one hand and an Axim in the other can only lead to an increased release of Bubba Mike's Super Secret Special MojoSmoke, which can only lead to one thing........a Maxed Out Card!!

And actually touching a $$ Card to the Axim....well, the magnetic stripe on the card will activate the Endorphin Tickler Chip which only increases the effect of the MojoSmoke.

You don't want to be embarrased by having your Card rejected on your next Big Night Out, do you? Or having to explain to the Pants in the Family (especially if they're Culottes or Capri) about all those charges to Handango, RhinoSkin and CompU$A, etc..........

They usually go away

Usually any remaining bubbles go away after about 24 hours, or at least in my case and I use the cheep Fellows brand that work just lovely. My pack came with a small cardbord "scrapper" that s used to push most of the air out. Works pretty good for no more tahn I pay for them.

They do seem smaller now. It definitely doesn't interfere with the view of the screen, although from an angle you can see them.
