I am cosidering a PPC purchase in the next month. I currently have a OS machine. Can you really tell the difference between a 300 and 400 mhz machine? I will mostly use for some music, addresses, and email with minimal microsoft office attachements.:rolling:

I'm an MD - and would like to know the same.
I will primarily use the pda for references and as a small e-book with medical litterature and stuff.
What is the difference between the 300 and 400 mhz? And does the ROM have any important feature in my decision?
There is quite a difference in the price - 140 USD - here in Denmark.

well from what both of you say the 300MHz flavor would do the job for you. Still if you have the extra $$ go for the 400MHz model. Extra never hurts in products like this.

to AND: As for the ROM, the difference btw two devices might be more significant in the future (possible release of PPC 2003 requiring more space etc) That should be the main thing RE ROM you should consider in buying. For what you will be using the machine for i do not think it would be much difference btw the two models (and this different amounts of ROM).
