Movie files .MOV extensions

How do I play .MOV files on my Axim X3i? If I have to convert .MOV files to a supported format, which FREE software can I use on my Windows 98 SE PC? (WM Encoder 9 needs XP or Windows 2000, I tried and it doesn't work)

I would like to know this as well. I don't think there is a program that will play .mov files but i am sure there is a convertor out there.

If you have quicktime pro, you can convert pretty much anything to anything anyway.

About Windows media encoder - Version 7 if you can stilll find it, will work better on Win98, I think as you've found WME9 is no longer supported on 98.

I think as well, windows media player, version 4 used to play quicktime 3 files, but it was long since pulled from the player due to licensing restrictions, and since quicktime is now up to version 6.5 the file format has changed substantially.

You can use Radtools to convert a quicktime file format (.mov)
to AVI.

It's free and works most of the time ;)

use pictpocket to play apples MOVs on your axim, thats all u need!
