Someone should at least un-sticky the post if no one is going to fix the bad link.

Remove the link

Please remove the link for New Axim Owners Roadmap. It does not appear to be working.

The shortcut URL is
<removed broke link>

Sounds like it would be a great resource to users from the responses.
See you later.

Chris' original post is more than two years old. I don't think the roadmap as such exists any more (thus, there is nother to link to). Just use Gigi's What Can I Do With My Axim? It has everything you should need.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh. The roadmap doesn't exist anymore! Ahhhh. Ahhhh. Ahhhhhh. I click on the liinnnkkk--and there is no ROAD! [deep breath, after a moment a resigned sniffle]. I am now lost in an axim user's limbo, trying to become more real by making the most use out of the VGA feature in my Dell Axim x51v [I am but a ghost of a Dell Axim x51v really]. What is there left to do? Well . . . we will see. I will start by clicking "What Can I Do With My Axim" link.

My chin firms. I clutch my x51v to me (tightly). And I set out to see what I can see.

In all honesty, it is things like this and the inability to stay signed in, and the general inattention to the site, including the non-reporting on the home page that keep me from financially supporting this site. Sorry, Chris, Martin, but it is the truth. I be gone.

Thank You for all the work you've done! This site is great
I must be missing something...I don't see the link everyone is raving about! The first post looks mostly blank to me on my computer.

I'm trying to figure out how to get online with my new Dell Axim X51V, with wifi and Bluetooth. When I click on Internet Explorer, there are too many options, I have no idea which I need to follow to be able to get online.

We have AOL (hubby refuses to give it up), is it possible to use AOL to get my email and surf the web as I do on my PC and laptop? If so, where do I find instructions for how to do so? Thanks!

For meerkat and others--the link hasn't been working for some time. Alternative places to find good introductory material are found in some of the tutorials, especially Gigi's What Can I do with My Axim, now in second edition, and Gigi's Taking Care of the Axim. Thorough "My PDA" sections are great for newcomers, too; I found it useful to start with the MY PDA links of the people who are regular and frequent posters--Frenchy for example--and start browsing. These kind contributors have outlined many answers for our first questions. Search a little and you'll find these excellent resources

Lol. I've read quite a bit about what the AXIM CAN do. Finding the HOW TO is another matter. 2 hours shot this morning. I'm no closer to an answer and I have to get on the job. I think this Axim is going back home to Dell. It is ridiculous to sell a product and not tell HOW TO use it. I threw Adobe Photoshop into the trash for the same reason. After 2 weeks and not finding any answers, I cut my losses and lowered my stress level. :)
