ecky, I did a quick search on this modem, and found very little. I'd suggest that you start a new thread in the X50/X51 Accessories forum to see if anyone has tried it recently. Your question might get lost in this thread. ;)

Gigi (or anyone else),
I have briefly looked at the tutorial "What can I with my Axim?" It appears to be excellent reading material for a newbie like me. Is there any way to transfer it to my X51 so that I can take it with me for viewing "on the road"?

Welcome to the site!

The best way I can think of would be to convert it into a more portable format, such as PDF or Repligo. There are a number of free PDF converters out there; I use Primo PDF. However, the links won't work.

Thanks for the response (and the tutorial) Gigi. I'll just spend my time here reading it.

Aximsitewifiicon Using X51v as a wireless adapter for my desktop

Hey i was wondering if it is possible to use my X51v as a wireless adapter for my desktop pc (desktop is running XP)

So when my axim is sitting in its cradle, plugged into my computer via USB, can i then use it to connect to a wireless connection for my desktop...i hope this makes sense! in other words im trying to save $ so i dont have to go buy a wireless card for my desktop

any help would be greatly appreciated

Welcome to the site, josh!

I believe this question has been asked before and unfortunately, the answer at that time was no.

The Axims don't have that ability.

Hi Rosa! Which primo did you download? Can you give me a link so I know exactly what you're talking about?
