Mad Video and WMP

Hello everybody,

I made a video with my camcorder. I edited it and save it from my PC to an SD memory card using a reader/write memory card hardware. Then I put the SD in my Axim X5 to view the video with the Windows Media Player but it only plays the sound, not the video.

What can I do to view the video?
Do I have to install codecs like in my pc?, how would I do that?

Thanks a lot.

Best regards,

Caonabo

The best way I know to convert your homemade movies (assuming you have Windows XP) is to capture the video to moviemaker2 and then use the save as function and select the best PPC format option.

Then copy to the PPC device.

The compression is automatic and painless.

This trick also works with any video that you can watch in Windows Media Player. I have found that a full length movie compresses down to about 200 MB.
