HI
I Have had my x3 about a week now and i am having some problems. i would be grateful for any advice you could give.

1. I am unable to send picyures to my axim at all from my files
2. I cannot seem to put small videos onto my axim from windows media player as when i try to copy them a message says inspectong and then it says an error occured.
3. When i try to connect my phone and axim via infrared it detectsthe phone but it it then says "establishing a connection" but it does not connect even after leaving it for a while.

Thanks a lot

1. how are you trying to transfer the files? irda, activsync, an SD card?

2. not had any problems with this. try taking the x3 out of the cradle, turn it off, then put it back in. it should turn back on and reestablish an activsync connection.

3. go to start/settings/connections and make sure you have the box checked to "receive all incoming beams".

Thanks for the help
1. I am using active sync
2. I tried plugging it back in but i think it's more likely some issue with media player as this did not resolve my problem
3. I checked this and it is set to recieve all incoming beams but the odd thing is it recognises the phone and tells me it's connecting but it never connects.
Thanks
Woody

1- Ok, let me ask the complete obvious questions, just to get them out of the way.

a) you have the option to sync files checked, and are placing the files you want to sync in the <ppc_name_Documents> folder on your PC's desktop?
b) If the above is true, can you sync any file at all, or is it just pictures?

2- This might be related to #1, but to be honest I'd recommend getting a SD card and reader and transfer them way. It's faster, and you don't have do deal with the media files hogging precious ram space.

3- I can't help you here at all.

You can try looking at the tutorials, they explain transferring files, and some other things that might be interesting.
