New Axim user here... just got it a couple days ago, and today got around to wanting to test the Windows Media player.

I saved off an MP3... put it into my ActiveSync My Documents folder, and synced it over to the player.

Played it. Worked like a champ.

Only problem is... now I can't figure out how to delete the bloody
thing.

I use RESCO explorer, surf to it, highlight it, and hit delete... and
I get the message "Cannot delete file \My
Documents\Personal\Musicfilename.mp3. Access is denied."

Whatthe?!

Help appreciated from this newbie.

When that appears on a desktop it's usually because the file in question is in use.

Perhaps the Ax see's it the same way. Try deleting it from any playlists set up under WMP and see if that helps.

Also make sure the player is off, as in dead, killed, not in memory. If all you did was push it into the background, it's still running and still has that file open.
