My laptop, is running on Win XP pro, with office XP.
If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it

all you have to do is copy and paste it to your desktop, and open it, in MS Word. For whatever reason it works this way, but it wouldn't let me drag it to the desktop...
Hope this helps any q's I'd be happy to help.

My Word files are synced to the PC automatically. They're in a sub folder of "my documents" called "Pocket_PC My Documents"
I do not remember setting it up to do that, so it might be an automatic sync folder. In any case, it syncs under the "files" section of Microsoft Active Sync. No need to do double work with the Word files.

Donna - No, you probably didn't do anything more than set up ActiveSync to synchornize files - it automatically creates that directory.
Pretty nice, huh?

Heck yeah! I have only had a few small problems with the Axim (basically owner-induced DUH! episodes :p ) and everything else just fell into place ... with the help of this wonderful site of course!

Footnotes on Word???
HI I use word to write most of my outlines for papers while doing research in the library and also take all my class notes with it.
My problem is that word on the Axim does not allow you to insert footnotes if it did then I could also write my papers on the Ax too I am running MS 2002 and would appreciate anyone who can help me find an update from MS or an software package that would allow me to insert footnotes. So that I could set my format to match (Chicago / Turabian style) right from my Ax:rolling:

Just click on the American flag for the English version.
I have this application installed. It is a full blown word processor and yes, it does footnotes.
