I've had my Axim almost a week now and have been neglecting this board because I have been having too much fun with it!

All of my co-workers are jealous... hehehehe :D

You made the right choice... the worst part about ordering an Axim is the wait!

My story:

I previously owned a Visor Prism (the color one) and loved it, but was always secretly jealous of those pocket pc's I would see every now and then. However, I could not justify the prices, so I was content with my Prism. Then, I heard about the Viewsonic Pocket PC that was going to be out for around $350. I couldn't believe the price. After some contemplation, and some heavy pressure from my wife who wanted my Prism, I placed an order for the Viewsonic as soon as it was available through Amazon. Then I waited, and waited, and waited (for about 5 weeks). Then someone told me about the Axim that Dell had announced. After researching the features/price of the Ax, I realized that I had made a big mistake!! Not only was it $50 cheaper, but it also had more features. I quickly cancelled my order with Amazon and literally orderd the Ax the first day they were available. (By the way, my hardware revision is A03.)

I cannot say enough good things about the Ax!! I have had zero problems. The screen is gorgeous, the size is great, the software selection is huge - what more could you ask for? (Well, maybe a better D-Pad, but that's beside the point :))

Oh, one more thing - Once my wife saw my Ax, she quickly grew tired of the Prism that she had inherited and sold it and the Visor Edge she had had before and bought an Ax herself.

All that to say this: You won't regret the purchase. There is no way to match the features/price of the Axim! Anyone that thinks they can, is either delusional, lying, or just plain stupid.

Hang in there, I am a newbie also but the one of the reasons I have an AX was because of seeing how well everyone seem to help each other on this site. This is a good group of problem solvers.

I have had my Axim 400mh for 10 days and LOVE it. I had four palms before this and I just ordered one for my hubby. Read the manual. It really helps.
