"F" stands for Freaking

Here is my advise to the Newbs out there....

RTFM

There are soo many questions that are being asked that couuld be solved by opening the manual. If you don't have the patience to read it straight cover to cover, read it while your sitting on the throne. ;)

Many of these questions are rocket science and are repetative in nature. Another great newbie feature of the forum is the search option. This will save people time and effort in some cases since your questions have already been answered at some time in the past.

Of course I meant this all in the nicest way and it should no way be taken as me standing on a soapbox preaching.

Its just my experience that manuals have good things in them :D

In fact I am gonna buy this shirt to prove it... RTFM shirt

I had a feeling this would come up eventually-
A newbie, by its very definition, would not know to use the search function- if they did, they would not be newbies.
I feel that this newbie forum is one of the best simply because everyone is so friendly- a lot other forums jump all over you because of one question- one that may have made a brief appearance in another post- they think that only unique questions should be asked.
The newbie forum is for newbies. Don't expect non newbies!
And I learn something from even the most repetitive post- no matter how much you know something, there is always something you don't know.
